Creative Ways to Display Vintage Calendars

Collecting vintage calendars is a hobby many people enjoy. Nostalgic images that celebrate simpler times, the cheerfully innocent visage of children and pets or the saucy poses of a G.I.'s fantasy gals, people value these calendars not just as time-keepers but as time capsules as well. Displaying your vintage calendars is a must, but maintaining the images' integrity is also important. Whether you display your calendars on a wall, tabletop or desktop, always attempt to preserve their value for generations to come.

Border Town
- A simple black frame will display colorful calendar art beautifully.
  
  Use your vintage calendar artwork to inspire your décor for a room or hallway. Frame your vintage calendars in identical black wood frames with white mattes to give them a museum-style presentation. Hang them in a neat row along the upper part of a hallway or around the upper 1/3 of a small room like a bathroom to create a visual-art border. Accessorize the space with colors that match dominant colors from the artwork to tie it all together.
  
  For example, if you are using a vintage calendar with floral drawings, accessorize the display by placing matching colored pillows on side chairs or using coordinated towels in a powder room.
