How to Collect Dobro Guitars

Dobro guitars are a special kind of a resonator/acoustic guitar. The term Dobro is used to describe any kind of resonator guitar today, although the name itself is trademarked by the Gibson Guitar Corporation. A dobro guitar is, generally speaking, an instrument with a single inverted cone resonator design. Models before 1994 come from various manufacturers; models made after 1994 are Gibson Dobro guitars. If you have a passion for antiques, bluegrass and/or blues, collecting Dobro guitars is a great idea.
