How to Remove Water Stains From Vintage Guitars

Vintage acoustic guitars come in a variety of woods, including mahogany, rosewood and maple. If water comes into contact with a vintage guitar, it can leave a water stain. Take special care when removing a water stain from a vintage acoustic guitar. Use oxalic acid to remove the stain and keep the wood's finish intact.
