Ford Mustang Collectible Gifts

For the Ford Mustang buff, a collectible gift makes a perfect Christmas or birthday present. Some collectible gifts gain value over time, especially if a gift is part of a series (i.e. jewelry, cars from different years). A gift should be chosen based on the interests of the person you are giving the gift to---if he likes cars, find Mustang models; if he likes jewelry, find Mustang jewelry.

Mustang Muscle Express Train Collection
- The Mustang Muscle Express Train collection is the first tribute train and comes with tracks and a power pack. The train collection starts with a diesel locomotive (Issue 1). Issue 2 is a passenger train car and a piece of track. Issue 3 includes a flatbed car, power pack, and a removable Mustang car model. Hawthorne Village sells the train collectible set.
Clothing
- Some people like to collect t-shirts. There are many great Ford Mustang shirts with different year Mustangs and racing Mustangs. When looking for Ford Mustang t-shirts, there are many places to find specialty shirts---the race track, most department stores and speed shops all carry a variety of shirts and other Mustang apparel for the clothing collector.
Diecast Cars
- A collector's favorite is diecast cars. Ford's 1967 Shelby GT500E Eleanor is one of the most coveted Mustangs ever made. Diecast models are 1:18 scale and, if bought from a reputable store (usually speed shops and high-end specialty stores), the models are intricately detailed.
Other Collectibles
- The Ford Store has many other items that make great gifts for collectors. Baseball caps, keychains, plush toys and mugs all can be found at the Ford Store or any other gift shop or speed shop. Items with the Ford logo or with the Mustang logo are all available. Some items have pictures of different year Mustangs on them---lots to choose from for that person who is difficult to shop for.
