Network with collectors. Visit antique shows and join collectors̵7; clubs to share the expertise and advice of Lladro collectors.
Visit antique and collectibles stores, as well as consignment stores to look for older or discontinued pieces. Online stores offer a selection as well: for newer figures, try Royal Pottery and for older ones, check Ruby Lane.
Visit auction sites such as eBay to see what individuals are willing to pay for Lladro figurines. Look at final bids on auctions that have closed to see what was paid for specific figurines.
Consult an appraiser. Find one by asking at local antiques stores or museums or contacting the International Society of Appraisers or the American Society of Appraisers.
