Types of Koozies

Bottle

• There are several koozie styles perfect for bottles. The slender shape and form of bottles requires you to use a specific style of koozie. Most bottle koozies slip up from the bottom and include a thin insulation. These types of koozies are effective at insulating drinks but can make the drink unstable, making it easier to knock over and spill. There are also top-sliding models that fit over the top of the bottle with an opening for the mouth of the bottle. These models are easy to slip on and allow for a more solid base for the drink to sit on.

Can

• Can koozies fit most 12-oz. drinks and consist of a variety of insulations. The thicker the insulation, the more effective the koozie is, but thick insulation can make it more difficult to put on. Many models allow the user to simply slip the drink down into a rigid foam koozie and remove the can easily when finished. Thick models give the can a larger base and make them much more difficult to knock over. Other models feature a thin design so that they can collapse down, allowing users to eject the empty can. Collapsible models are also very easy to store because they take up very little space.

Water Bottle

• Water bottle koozies are ideal for most 16-oz. and 20-oz. water bottles. There are several models of koozies that allow the user securely insulate a water bottle. Zipper models fit larger water bottles and can surround the entire water bottle regardless of the shape of the bottle's neck. Zipper models are also the easiest to put on and take off. There are also simple sleeve models that are available to keep water bottles cold.

Thermal

• Many koozies help insulate hot beverage containers like thermals and coffee mugs. These koozies come in various sizes and models, and koozies vendors can customize them.
