Displaying Beanie Babies in Baskets
Group similar themed Beanie Babies, such as farm animals, kittens or puppies, together in large baskets. Large baskets with a 24-inch diameter work best for display purposes, as they provide ample room for multiple rows of beanie toys.
Arrange the beanie animals in the basket in a circular pattern, with the beanies along the inside edge of the basket, and in graduating rows until you reach the center of the basket. Choose a larger animal to place in the center. Face the Beanie Babies' faces/heads looking out from the basket.
Place the baskets of similar or like beanie animals in groups together on sofa tables, end tables or chests. Treat the baskets of beanies as you would a flower arrangement when deciding on the basket's placement in your home décor scheme.
Displaying Beanie Babies in a Bassinet or Cradle
Place a baby bassinet or cradle no longer used by an infant in a low-traffic area of a room and line it with rows of Beanie Babies.
Turn the beanies so that they all face the same direction. You don't want them to look like you've just thrown them haphazardly into the baby bed. Uniform rows make for an orderly presentation.
Group the beanies according to like animals, same colors, or particular seasonal or production years. Ty issues many beanies only during certain years or to celebrate certain events. Displaying all of the beanies from one year in a cradle is an interesting conversation starter. Ty often produces Beanie Babies in limited quantities, increasing their value over time and raising their popularity. Emphasize the uniqueness of these special beanies by displaying them in a lovely baby bed.
Displaying Beanie Babies in Toy Hammocks
Hang toy hammocks in the corners of a room to reduce clutter and get your Beanie Babies off overcrowded shelves and into plain view. You can hang most toy hammocks by screwing three cup hooks into the wall/corner studs. You can purchase stud finders at home improvement stores or discount stores.
Place the Beanie Babies into the net hammocks facing out toward the line of sight of a viewer. Placing the bean bag animals in neat rows enforces the display and creates the look of a uniform collection.
Group beanies in the toy hammocks according to animal type, color or collectible year. Hang multiple hammocks one above the other for a tiered effect and to maximize the use of corner space.
