How to Get Pen Ink Off of a Doll's Face

Plastic dolls are usually made of vinyl plastic that can be hard to clean. Pen ink, in particular, can be a tricky stain to remove. It's best to use products around the house first, like hairspray and nail polish remover. If those products don't work, you should consider buying a tin of plastic cleaner.

  • Cotton pads
  • Plastic cleaner

      Hold a cotton pad to the opening of the plastic cleaner container.

      Quickly turn the plastic cleaner container over and then back to its upright position. Your cotton pad should now be soaked in the solution.

      Gently rub at the pen markings with the cotton pad.

      If this doesn't work immediately, try repeating the process a few times with clean cotton pads each time.
