Things You'll Need
Instructions
Visit the White House website at whitehouse.gov/eastereggroll to procure a ticket. There is a limit of five tickets per family. Older children are encouraged to attend, but you must have a child younger than ten in each household.
Read your ticket carefully as there are arrival times slotted throughout the day. Arrive at the White House an hour before the event. Bear in mind that you're not allowed to bring in any drinks or food, large bags, aerosols, mace, knives, real or fake weapons, or animals (aside from service dogs). Be prepared to leave two hours after the printed time on your ticket to make way for the next group of families.
Assist your child in finding wooden Easter eggs during the hunt. Make sure your child says "thank you" when they receive their commemorative egg upon leaving.
Visit the National Parks Foundation website at https://www.nationalparks.org/about/store/products to purchase a souvenir Wooden White House Easter. If the current year's eggs are sold out, visit the website again the following March, a month before the next Easter Egg hunt, for more details.
