History
International Harvester manufactured 112,006 of its McCormick Farmall Super C tractors from 1951 to 1954, when the Farmall 200 was made to replace the Super C.
Engine
The Farmall Super C had a 123 cubic inch four-cylinder engine at 22 HP, which used gasoline as fuel.
Transmission
The Super C had a four-speed transmission with four forward gears and one reverse gear.
Attaching Implements
A hydraulic lever called the "touch control" system allowed the operator to lower or raise implements attached to the two-point fast hitch easily.
Fun Fact
The McCormick Farmall Super C was tested for 40½ hours during the first week of June 1951 at the University of Nebraska College of Agriculture Experimental Station in Lincoln. One test done in second gear with a rated load took 10 hours.
