How to Design Your Own Trading Pin

Trading pins, or lapel pins, are a great way to circulate your name amongst thousands of people. Pin trading is a hobby that many people around the world participate in. So, if you created your own trading pin and introduced it to some pin collectors, that trading pin may eventually make it around the world. The Olympics are a good example of how pins circulate around the world. People from many different countries come together in one spot and they often collect and trade pins. Designing your own pin is simple as long as you have creativity.

  Decide the purpose of making your trading pin. Are you advertising your business? Are you congratulating someone for his service? Is there a specific sports team you want to make pins for?

  Draw sketches of any trading pin ideas you have. Include any colors you want on the pin.

  Decide what shape you want your trading pin to be. If you are making a pin for a baseball team, you could make the pin into the shape of a baseball field, a baseball glove or simply a baseball.
