How to Collect Red Wing Stoneware

The first Red Wing Stoneware Company, which manufactures stoneware and dinnerware, emerged in 1877 in Red Wing, Minn. Several stoneware companies emerged in the town, and consolidated to form the Red Wing Union Stoneware Company in 1906. To this day, Red Wing, Minn., produces the only supply of Red Wing Stoneware found in the United States. Collectors of stoneware and dinnerware usually look for older stoneware sets to complete their collections.
