How to Clean Snowbabies

Snowbabies are those cute, hand-painted figurines that depict children playing in the snow and performing other activities. Besides figurines, Snowbabies can be found in the form of ornaments, picture frames and special collections featuring well-known characters. Snowbabies are made from bisque and are all hand-painted. And while these figurines are very nice to look at, they should be handled as little as possible. Snowbabies cannot be immersed in water, which means that getting them clean can be very difficult.

Instructions

    • 1

Put on your gloves and blow air on your Snowbabies using your hair dryer on low heat. This will remove large portions of dust.

    • 2

Brush your soft-bristled paint brush into the corners and crevices of your Snowbabies.

    • 3

Sprinkle talcum powder over your Snowbabies. This will help soak up any oils that may have settled onto the figurine. Allow to set for a few minutes.

    • 4

Blow away any excess talcum powder with your hair dryer.

    • 5

Brush your Snowbabies with your soft-bristled toothbrush to remove any talcum powder that your hair dryer missed. Your Snowbabies should now be clean.
