Instructions
Look for bands around the rims of dinnerware such as cups, plates, and bowls. There is always at least one band around each product up to three bands. If there are more than one band of color around the rims of the plate then one is usually thinner than another.
Notice the floral patterns on the center of the plates and bowls. These floral designs consist of two to three soft colors such as turquoise, yellow, and light green. The floral designs are very simple designs.
Recognize various patterns on the same set of dinnerware. For example, four platters in the same set will all have the same colored thin bands around the rims of the platters, but will have different patterns in the center. These designs are flowers and stems and will be located around the center of the platter or vertically on the platter.
Notice the one row of corelle's designs on the dinnerware. If there are no bands, then there is a design circling the rim of the bowls, platters, and cups.
Look at the rims and edges of the platters. The more decorative and elaborate dinnerware will have thick colors such as blues and yellows on the rims in swirls while the edges are also made up of thinner lines of swirls that come down near the center of the plates. Cups have a thinner line around the rim of the same color as the set and swirls around the center.
