Things You'll Need
Instructions
Gather your unused board games in a pile and ask yourself if you really want to trade them away. Sometimes just thinking about giving away a game will make you realize how much you like it.
Examine all board games you are putting up for trade to make sure all pieces are intact. If any pieces are missing, you will need to make a note of it before you trade them away.
Find a forum with other people who are interested in trading board games. These can be found on websites such as the Board Game Geek site at Resources below.
Create a profile and start cataloguing all the games you have for trade. Be sure to include any defects or missing pieces you discovered in Step 2, by making notes next to your entry for that game.
Make a post in the Trades forum telling people what games you have for trade, if you are not particular about what you receive in return.
Search for other members with games for trade if you are seeking particular games in return. You can send them a message through the site messaging system to ask if they would be interested in trading.
Confirm the trade once both parties are satisfied with the offer. This may take a few rounds of negotiating, so don't be afraid to offer to throw in a little more.
Send out your games once a trade is agreed upon. If your games are heavy, your best option may be a flat-rate priority mail box. Otherwise, standard USPS shipping should suffice, but be sure to buy the package insurance.
Receive your new used games, and enjoy.
