Things You'll Need
Instructions
Choose a good location. Although pebbles are all around, the best places to look for them are in a garden, in a construction site or on the beach.
Familiarize yourself what a pebble actually looks like. A pebble is a small rock that is perfectly shaped. It has no dents, breaks, scratches or flaws. It may have some discoloration, but that is OK. The shape is what makes a rock into a pebble.
Seek pebbles that are perfect. Try to find ones that do not have any discoloration. If you find one with a strange pattern in it or a hole in it, it is rare and you should take it.
Move slowly throughout the area as you seek pebbles. Pick up possible pebbles and place them in a basket or a bag. Pick them up one at a time. Hunt for pebbles slowly so you can concentrate on collecting good pebbles.
