Knowing which cards hold value for both playing and collecting is the best first step to beginning your collection. Check the IGN website for the information you need (see Resources below).
Sign up with an online Dragon Ball Z network (see Resources below) where other collectors and gaming fans can guide you in building a rare collection or a specialty deck. Online gaming networks are also great resources for learning about the newest card releases or for finding others who would like to buy, sell or trade cards. Many networks will carry a wish list on which you can let others know which cards you need.
Trade your duplicate Dragon Ball Z cards with fellow players and collectors. By minimizing the unneeded doubles in your collection, you can expand and improve your collection.
Increase your chances of finding rare Dragon Ball Z cards by purchasing an entire box of cards instead of just one packet. Not for the average collector, whole boxes can be purchased at most stores or even online directly from Japan.
