Stop looking for "Pikablu" in the Game Boy Red, Blue and Yellow versions and in the card game sold in retail stores. (Pikablu is known as Marril and Mariru in Japan.)
Find someone who has the Marril hologram card that was given out for a very short time at Pokémon movies in Japan. The Tropical Island set in which Marril was introduced was the most popular of the six three-card sets in the Southern Island series.
Plan to spend some time and some money or trade some cards if you wish to obtain this Marril. Price currently start at $14 for the card and $50 for the 18-card set that includes Marril.
Look for someone who received the limited edition Marril in the July 1999 Japanese Corocoro comic book.
Expect to pay at least $100 for this rare Marril.
Be one of the first to get Marril from the unlimited Neo Series #7 being sold in Japan.
Pay at least a dollar plus postage when you buy Marril online - or $13 if you buy the whole series.
Go to eBay and Web sites where Pokémon fans hang out to find owners of Marril, or try to find it in a store that specializes in Pokémon cards.
