Things You'll Need
Instructions
Dip the bristles of a small toothbrush into a bottle of turpentine. Press the bristles against the edge of the bottle to remove excess liquid.
Apply the turpentine to the sticker with the paintbrush. Allow the turpentine at least 5 minutes to work; the turpentine will dissolve the glue that holds the sticker in place.
Pry gently at one edge of the sticker with your fingernail. If the edge comes loose, slowly peel the sticker off of the record label. If it doesn't, apply another layer of turpentine and allow a longer period for the turpentine to dissolve the glue. Continue until you can remove the sticker.
Dampen the brush again in turpentine, and paint over the area from which you removed the sticker. Wait another 5 minutes while the turpentine dissolves residual glue.
Wipe away remaining glue and turpentine with a tissue.
