Rock collecting is hard work, but fun. While you're gathering gear, including safety glasses for eye protection, gloves to protect you hands and digging tools and chisels to help you uncover collection-worthy rocks, don't forget a rock bucket. On your next collecting adventure, bring a homemade rock bucket to carry supplies and to tote finds to the site for cleaning and identification. Store your collection in your special bucket, or keep it empty and ready for your next outing in an instant.
