Fill the small bowl halfway with warm water. According to Jewels for Me, it is not wise to use hot water, as the rapid temperature shift can cause thermal shock.
Add one pump of mild liquid soap to the warm water. Mix with your finger.
Place the aquamarine stone in the soapy water and let it soak for five minutes.
Gently scrub the stone with the toothbrush, making sure to scrub all facets and corners.
Dry and polish the stone with the soft polishing towel.
