Instructions
Gather your beach glass from any beach. Be sure to gather glass that has smooth edges. Most sea glass should be naturally smoothed from rolling in the sand over the course of time.
Consider finding a craft supplier that has already smoothed beach glass available for use. You can find a nice variety of colors and shapes to enhance or coordinate any room in your home.
Take a straw or grapevine wreath and begin hot gluing the pieces of sea glass to the wreath form in whatever color combination you like. Make sure that you use enough glue to hold each of the individual pieces of glass to the wreath as well as to each other.
Add ocean theme items such as clam shells, mussel shells or even fishing net pieces to give the wreath a sea theme. These can be picked up from the beach or purchased from any local fishing or craft store.
Finish the wreath with artificial moss or grass to give your wreath an earthy tone. Add a raffia bow near the top or glue on pieces of dried seaweed for a seaside effect. Crab claws or driftwood also add to a beach theme.
Replace any pieces that fall off over the course of time. Replace these pieces by hot gluing the new pieces into the spaces that occur when loose pieces fall off. Make sure when you finish working on the wreath, you remove the spare glue or glue strings by running your finger around the wreath.
Place your wreath on a wall or door, just make sure that you have a good anchor wire that can suspend the wreath without any concerns.
