Go to a website such as T206 Baseball and seek out your card from the list. T206 Baseball has a complete list of T206 baseball cards.
Bring your card to a professional card dealer to obtain the grade of the card. Some may charge a fee or perform a grade appraisal for free.
Run a magnifying glass over the card and inspect the edges and the condition of the card. Any bent edges or smudges will reduce the grade of the baseball card. A card in good condition with smooth edges, original color border and gloss is described as being in "mint condition."
Inspect for minor flaws such as a few minor print spots or focus imperfection on the card. This would indicate that it is "near mint-mint" condition. A card with slightly fuzzy corners or minor border discoloration would be graded as "near mint" condition.
Inspect the centering of the card. It is considered in "excellent" condition if it contains centering of 75/25, poor focus and noticeable print spots by is otherwise in good condition. A "very good" condition card features a card that is centered at 80/20 or better and has slightly rounded corners but no chipped notches or edges.
