Go to Trading Card Central (see Resources). The site is one of the largest sites on the Internet for collector card information and trading. Not only does the site have extensive pricing resources and advice on collecting, it also has a place to buy and sell cards. The Collector Zone is a free place to buy and sell with like-minded traders of collector cards.
List the cards on eBay. The enormous online auction site has subcategories dedicated to collectors’ cards and has a global audience. Cards can be listed and sold one at a time, in pairs, in sets or as entire collections. A listing fee applies to each listing, and a commission fee is paid to eBay based on the amount that the cards sell for.
Sell the cards through Overstock Auctions. The auction site may not be as big as eBay, but it has a large, dedicated audience that will be every bit as interested in collectors’ cards as eBay buyers. The fees for these auctions are lower than eBay’s listing and commission fees.
Use the Sportlots website to sell the cards. The site is similar to eBay but is dedicated to sports cards.
Take the cards to a card dealer. This is likely the way to get the least for the cards, since the dealer has to sell them for a profit to another collector. However, it is the easiest way to make the sale. If you are short on time and simply want them sold, find a collector shop that will look at your collection.
