Create a PayPal account. This will make it easy for you to collect payment instantly from the individual who wins the bid for your baseball cards.

Find the "Sell" link on the eBay collectibles homepage and click on it (see Resources below).

List a description of the baseball cards you're looking to sell in the field provided.

Opt to "Keep It Simple" or "Customize Your Listing" as you prefer. Whichever option you choose, you'll be redirected to a page that will walk you through the simple steps of setting up the terms of your auction.

Follow the "Start Selling" link. Read and review the terms and conditions imposed on eBay users and create a seller's account as directed.

Take photographs of the baseball cards you want to sell, showing both the front and the back in individual pictures. It's recommended that you then scan the photographs to enlarge them, rather than risk damaging your card by scanning it directly.

Upload the scanned photographs to eBay. Your chances of getting the price you want are greatly increased if you include images of the item up for sale with your auction.

Declare the auction open. Notify buyers that they'll have to pay you via PayPal, certified check or money order. Ship the baseball cards to the winning bidder.
