How to Sell Your Stamps in Tucson

Stamp collecting is a fun hobby for some and a serious one for others. With different stamps all over the world and additional designs added to the world twice a year or more, there are plenty of chances for mistake printings or rare stamps to be collected and sold. If you have a stamp collection, or even a single stamp, and you live in the Tucson area, there are several locations to accommodate your hobby.

Instructions

Look in the Yellow Pages section of your phone book for antique and coin dealers. There are several dealers in the Tucson area from which to choose, such as Old Pueblo Coin at 4420 E. Speedway Blvd., American Stamp &Coil at 7225 N. Oracle Road, and Country Collections at 800 N. Swan Road.

Put your stamps in see-through plastic sheets so they will not be damaged when you show them to the dealer. If you cannot find sleeves specifically for stamps, try using sleeves meant for collector cards.

    • 3

Take the stamps to the store and talk to the dealer. It will help if you know a bit about the stamps you have, so you know how much your stamps are worth. This way you insure the fairness of an offer to purchase them.
