Part of the fun of stamp collecting is the opportunity to acquire samples from dozens of different countries. Stamp collectors looking to acquire selections from Canada can do so in a number of different ways.

- The easiest way to find Canadian stamps is to visit Canada Post, the country's official stamp producer. The Post website lists a wide variety of stamps, both modern and classic. Stamps can be bought directly from the site using a valid credit card. Visitors to the site must create an account before they will be able to buy anything.
Alternatives
- Enthusiasts have other ways of tracking down Canadian stamps. Buy-and-sell websites like Craigslist will feature listings provided by private sellers. Internet auction sites like eBay also lists stamps from a variety of countries. Either of these methods is viable, with private vendors usually accepting payment by cash, credit card, check or money order.
Warning
- Purchasing Canadian stamps from a private seller is not the most reliable method. As with any private sale, the customer should try to ensure the product is legitimate, and that the seller is not trying to pull off a scam. The buyer should also check the stamp to make sure it is in the condition stated by the seller.
