How to Create Postage Stamps

Visit the website for the United States Postal Service. Scroll to the bottom of the page using your mouse pointer and the right scroll bar.

View the options under “Would you like to..?” and click on the “Create customized postage” option. Review the new page that opens, titled “Customized Postage.” Click on the "Get Started" bubble under one of the custom postage suppliers, such as pictureitpostage.com.

View the new window that opens providing the contents of Picture it Postage. Under the “Try it now” heading, click on “Load Image” under the number one. Locate the image on your computer you want to use by clicking on the drop down menu and visiting the image location, such as "My Pictures." Double click the picture file to upload.

Click “See my stamp” once you have uploaded your image. Use the photo editing tool to adjust your image and how it appears on the stamp. When you have the image in the correct position, click “Add to Cart” for purchasing options.

Choose how many books of stamps you want to purchase by using the drop-down arrow. Also, pick the shipping method for your order, such as standard or priority. You can then create more postage or continue to the checkout area.

Provide your billing information and shipping address on the checkout page. Click the “Process Order” button to complete your order.
