How to Display Framed Postage Stamps
Select a space to hang the framed stamps that does not receive direct sunlight. Sunlight can easily fade the stamp's ink. If using lighting as a spot light, use a cool, efficient bulb, preferably LED so as not to heat the stamp.
Make sure that the humidity levels are not too high. Don't hang the frames near steam from a bathroom or kitchen. High humidity can cause the stamps to warp and quickly deteriorate.
Either hang the frames on the wall or prop them up on a table or other flat surface as you would a photograph. You can place one stamp in the middle of the mounting surface to highlight an individual stamp, display an entire page of stamps in a frame, or create a collage with other artwork and memorabilia that relate to the stamp. The arrangement of frames can form a limitless amount of shapes on the wall.
Arrange the frames on the floor to figure out their placement. Display by historic time period, topic, size, country or other category.
Hammer a nail into the wall and hang the frame as you would a framed photograph.
