How to Make Soft Sculpture Faces

First cut off the top part of the panty hose. You will only be using the leg parts. Try to cut pieces that do not have any runs.
Use your own judgement of what size pieces to cut for your projects.

Cut the desired size square shaped piece from the panty hose leg.
Place about a handful of fiber fill in the center of the square. Gather up the corners and edges and sew it down securely.
Do not cut the thread. Bring the needle through the piece to the front where you want the nose to be.
Pinch up a small bit of hose and fiber fill to form the nose. Wrap the thread around it completely once, and insert the needle in the other side bringing it through to the back .

Then insert the needle and bring it back to the front at about the space where you a want one side of the mouth to be. Move the needle about one inch or so over to where the other side of the mouth will be. Push the needle in and bring it through to the back. Pull a little tight when you're making the mouth so it will wrinkle nicely.
If you want to try to make wrinkly cheeks just bring the needle back to where the eyes will be , make a stitch on each side at the point where the eye will be, and bring the thread to the back again.
Sew a pin back or safety pin to the back for brooches. Or add a small ribbon or cord to the top to make an ornament.
