Instructions

    • 1

Gather two to six players to play the game. Shuffle all the "Complications" and "Grey Matter" cards and set them on the designated spots on the game board. Sit everyone around the board and have each person choose which "Grey's Anatomy" character they want to play as (e.g. Meredith, Cristina or Alex). Place all the pawns in the "Start/Locker Room" space on the board.

    • 2

Begin play with the person who is sitting closest to the "Plastics Department" room on the game board. Play will continue to the left with each person taking a turn rolling the die and then moving his pawn the amount of spaces according to what number he rolled. All pawns must move clockwise on the board.

    • 3

Answer a "Grey Matter" trivia card if you land on a green surgery department space. Roll the die again to determine which question you will answer. If you roll a "1" or a "5" you will answer question 1; roll "2" or "6" to answer question 2; roll a "3" to answer question 3; roll a "4" to answer question 4. Have the player pick up a "Grey Matter" card and read you the trivia question. If you answer correctly, move your pawn to the next available blank space. If you answer incorrectly, your turn is over and you must answer another trivia question on your next turn.

    • 4

Roll the die to get out of "The Pit." If your pawn lands on "The Pit" space, roll the die. If you roll a "5" or "6," move your pawn to the next adjacent blank space. If you roll any other number your turn is over and you will have to try to roll a "5" or "6" on your next turn.

    • 5

Switch places with another player by landing on a "Challenge" space. If you want to switch places with another pawn on the game board, challenge that player to either a dice roll duel or a trivia test. In a dice roll duel, you and the challenged player take turns rolling the die. If you roll the higher number you can switch spots with his pawn on the board. For a trivia test, another player will choose a "Grey Matter" card and read a question of her choosing aloud. If you shout out the correct answer before the challenged player, you can switch places with his pawn on the board. In a two-player game, the challenged player and challenger take turns asking each other trivia question until one of them answers a question correctly.

    • 6

Pick a "Complications" card if you land on a "Complications" space or in the "On-Call" space. If you land on a "Complications" space, pick a "Complications" card, read it aloud and follow what it says. If you land on the "On-Call" space, pick a "Complications" card and read it aloud. It is up to you if you want to follow what it says or not.

    • 7

Move your pawn to the next level if you end your turn on a stairwell space. Move the pawn across the stairwell space and onto the next blank game space.

    • 8

Land your pawn onto the "Operating Room" space. Have the player on your left choose a "Grey Matter" card and read you a question based on the number you rolled with the die. The first person to land on the "Operating Room" space and answer a "Grey Matter" question correctly wins the game. If you answer incorrectly, you may stay in the "Operating Room" and wait to answer another question on your next turn.
