Instructions for Tetris Tower 3D

"Tetris Tower 3D" takes the classic video game and brings it into the real world. The object of the game remains the same: to make as many solid horizontal lines as possible. But instead of using a video game controller to place the pieces (Tetriminoes), you use your hands to slide the pieces into the tower. "Tetris Tower 3D" can be played by one or two players.

Instructions

    • 1

Remove the battery compartment door using a screwdriver. Place two AA batteries into the slots as indicated in the compartment. Replace the battery compartment door.

    • 2

Empty the tower of any Tetriminoes from previous games.

    • 3

Press and hold the "ON/START/NEW GAME" button on the tower to turn the game on.

    • 4

Select the number of players by pressing the corresponding button on the tower.

    • 5

Press the "START" button again to begin play. The tower randomly chooses who plays first, if you are playing a two-player game. Player One's Piece Indicators are on the left side of the tower, and Player Two's are on the right.

    • 6

Drop the Tetrimino into the top of the tower that matches one of the five lit-up Piece Indicators before the timer runs out.

    • 7

Prepare for the next Tetrimino drop by looking at the Piece Indicators on your side of the tower, if you are playing a two-player game. When your opponent is playing, one of the Piece Indicators on your side of the tower will be flashing. This is the next Tetrimino that you need to play. In a single player game, the tower will have one Piece Indicator lit up and another one flashing, indicating the next Tetrimino.

    • 8

Play two Tetriminoes if your opponent played after the timer runs out. This is his penalty for taking too long.

    • 9

Slide one point on your Line Score Lever for every completed horizontal line you create in the tower.

    • 10

Finish the game once the Tetriminoes reach the top of the tower, if you are playing a two-player game. The player with the most completed horizontal lines --- as indicated on the Line Score Lever --- is the winner. In a single-player game, the game is over once the timer (indicated by a vertical line of lights) reaches the bottom of the tower or if you don't beat the timer on four separate occasions.
