Things You'll Need
Instructions
Research previous week's spelling lists, sight words, challenging words from level reading books and vocabulary words from subject-specific textbooks to place on the word list for an educational bingo game. Gather a group of teachers who teach the same grade level to brainstorm with you and consider laminating the cards and passing them around to each class for use.
Use foreign language vocabulary words, conjugations, phrases and sentences as a word list for reinforcing the learned knowledge in Spanish, French, Latin or other foreign language class. Do not attempt to introduce new vocabulary words while playing the game and creating the word list, as this may confuse students. Make use of the words the class has already learned.
Integrate a word list onto blank bingo cards to play at a baby shower or bridal shower. Internet sites such as Print-Bingo.com, Bingo Card Creator and Baby Shower Games and Ideas have sample word lists that the planning group and host can build upon. Include more personal words such as the baby's name, middle name, sex and mother's maternity characteristics. For a bridal shower, also use words that pertain to the couple's first date, honeymoon location and cherished memories.
