How to Design a Monopoly Board Online

The classic game of Monopoly now allows users to creatively design, and name, their own board game and properties. With five game board themes to select from, "Classic," "Birthday," "Christmas," "New Home" and "Wedding," these personalized games make a great gift for many occasions. Using their simple website, you can involve the whole family in planning your own game or design a gift in a matter of minutes.

      Navigate to the Monopoly website. Look at the menu bar on the top of the page. Locate the red button marked "How it works. Getting started" on the right side of the page. Click and allow the orientation page to load. Read the getting started guide. Click on the "My Monopoly board planner" button at the bottom of the page. Allow the PDF to open in your web browser. Click "File" and "Print" on your web browser to send the PDF to your printer.

      Complete the printed worksheet to make basic design decisions for your Monopoly board. Create an account by clicking on the large red "Register/Login" button on the Monopoly homepage. Complete your personal, shipping and billing information and create a password. Accept the terms and conditions and press the "Join" button.

      Click the button marked "Start Creating Your Board" that appears on the login confirmation page. Enter the title for your Monopoly board in the space provided and press the red button marked with a cross at the right end of the typing field. Personalize your board theme by selecting the icon that matches your choice. Move your cursor over the board to select and rename the real estate properties. Press the "Save Board" button to save your choices.

      Press the "Order" button that appears after pressing the "Save Board" button on the previous screen. Follow prompts to complete your secure checkout. Click on "My Monopoly" at the top of the screen to design additional boards.
