Set Up
Select a player to go first; that player must build the tower.
Use the loading tray (included with the game) to stack layers of three blocks at right angles to the layer below it. For example, if you lay three blocks horizontally (with the ends facing west and east), lay the next three blocks on top of them vertically (with the ends facing north and south). Use all of the blocks to construct the tower.
Straighten the tower using the loading tray and place it on a flat, stable surface, such as a table. All players then sit around the tower in a circle.
Game Play
Take turns, going clockwise, starting with the player who built the tower. Player one selects a block and pulls or pushes it from the tower, being careful not to knock the tower over. A block can only be taken from below the highest completed (three block) level.
Place that block on top of the tower in the same fashion the tower was built. The top level must have three blocks in it before a new level can be built.
Observe the block that was just placed.
If a block with a number was selected, the next player must select a block of either the same number or color.
If a "Draw Two" block was selected, the next player must select two blocks of the same color as the "Draw Two" block. This player may not select a "Reverse," "Skip," "Draw Two" or "Wild" block. The player after that must select a block that matches the color of the previous player's second selected block.
If a "Reverse" block was selected, play continues in the opposite direction (counter-clockwise) until another "Reverse" block is selected. The next player must select a block that matches the color of the selected "Reverse" block.
If a "Skip" block was selected, the next player misses a turn and play resumes with the player after the skipped player. This player must select a block that matches the color of the selected "Skip" block.
If a "Wild" block was selected, the player who selected it may choose a color and announce it to the other players. The next player must select a block of the same color announced by the previous player. A "Wild" block may be selected in place of any block, except after a "Draw Two" block.
Play continues in this fashion until a player knocks the tower over. That player is the loser.
