Instructions for NFL-opoly

"NFLopoly" combines the principles of classic "Monopoly" with elements of pro football. It's played with a brass NFL coin, a helmet dice shaker and a football-shaped dice. Miniature red seating sections and blue stadiums replace the houses and hotels, while AFC and NFC spaces replace the classic "Community Chest" and "Chance" spots on the game board. Players choose one of eight football icons as tokens and move around the buying teams and paying royalties. The player with the most money at the end wins.

Instructions

- 1
  Place the AFC and NFC cards in their marked spaces. Direct each player to select one of the eight pewter football icons as his game token. Use your token to move around the board when it's your turn.

  Pass out two $500, $100 and $50 bills, six $20 bills and five $10, $5 and $1 bills to each player. Place all remaining money and equipment in the plastic bank sleeve. Designate one player to serve as the banker. Place all tokens on the "Go" slot of the board.

  Perform a coin toss with the included NFL coin to determine the playing order for all players.

  Roll the football-shaped dice to initiate your turn. Move your token the corresponding number of spaces and decide whether or not to buy the team you land on. Purchase red seating sections and blue stadiums on teams you own to increase your revenues.

  Take turns until one player goes bankrupt. Count the money and property values of the remaining players to determine the winner.
