Trivial Pursuit
In this game you choose a pie and must roll dice to move around the board, attempting to answer questions in topics such as sports and leisure; arts and entertainment; history; and science and nature. Once you collect six pie pieces, you must make your way to the center of the board and answer a final question of your opponents' choosing. "Trivial Pursuit" can involve as few as two players and as many players as you wish if you form together into teams.
Scene It?
What began as a single board game about movies has spawned a series of titles that test fans' knowledge of "Harry Potter," "Star Trek," "The Simpsons" and many more. You roll dice to move your game piece around the board, sometimes answering a question about movies or television to advance. Occasionally, the game lets you watch a movie clip and you must pay close attention to get the correct answer. The game is best with two to four players.
Wits &Wagers
You will rarely know the exact answer to the questions proposed in "Wits &Wagers," but you will often find yourself betting on your response. You must write down your guess to questions such as, "In what year did the bikini make its first appearance?" The answers from each player or team are displayed for all to see and players make wagers on who is closest to the correct answer. Earn the most chips from bets to win the game. Games usually involve at least three players and any number of players can compete in teams.
Jeopardy!
The TV trivia quiz show comes to life in your living room in this home game version of "Jeopardy!" One player serves in the Alex Trebek role, preparing the game board and asking the questions, while up to three players grab clickers and "buzz" in to give the correct questions to the answers. The game includes Jeopardy!, Double Jeopardy! and Final Jeopardy! rounds just as the show does.
