Instructions
Ensure that you have all the pieces to the game, including the game board, four gingerbread pieces and 64 cards. Unfold the gameboard and place it on a flat surface. Shuffle the deck of cards, then place them face-down next to the board within reach of all players.
Instruct each player to pick a gingerbread piece and place it at "Start." The youngest players goes first then continue clockwise around the table.
Draw one card from the deck on your turn, then move your gingerbread piece as indicated. Draw a card with one color block, move your gingerbread to the first matching color space on the path to the Candy Castle. Draw a card with two color blocks, move your gingerbread to the second matching color space on the path. Draw a picture card, move your gingerbread to the pink picture space that matches the picture on your card, you might have to move your piece backwards to get to this space. Return the card to the bottom of the deck, then it is the next players turn.
Take the shortcuts on the board to advance. Land on the orange space below the Rainbow Trail or the yellow space below the Gumdrop Pass, and you can use the shortcut. Move your gingerbread to the purple space above the Rainbow trail or the green space above the Gumdrop Pass.
Land on one of the three licorice spaces and you loose a turn.
Continue playing until the first person reaches the rainbow space under the Candy Castle and wins the game.
