Instructions for Parker Brothers Hi Ho! Cherry-O

Hi Ho! Cherry-O is a classic Parker Brother's board game suitable for children between the ages of 3 and 6. The object of the game is to get the cherries from your tree into your collection bucket. Cherries are plucked according to the commands given by spinning the included game wheel. The game is simple to set up, and game play doesn't require reading skills as all of the commands are given in the form of pictures.

Instructions

    • 1

Assemble the game board by inserting the spinner through the hole in the bottom of the board and attaching the arrow to the top.

    • 2

Hand out the tree cards to each player. The game comes with four cards, allowing the game to be played with up to four people.

    • 3

Place 10 cherries onto each player's cherry tree.

    • 4

Determine who is the youngest player present. The youngest player spins first and then passes the turn to the left.

    • 5

Spin the wheel to determine how many cherries you get to take from the tree and place in your bucket. Depending on what picture you land on, you can take either one, two, three or four cherries. A dog or bird means you have to put two cherries back on your tree, and a spilled bucket means you have to put all of your cherries back on the tree.

    • 6

Play until someone gets all of his 10 cherries from the tree into the bucket. The first player to do this has to call out "Hi Ho Cherry-O!" to win.
