Anniversary Edition
The Axis and Allies Anniversary Edition is the largest Axis and Allies board produced as of March 2011 and measures 24 inches by 42 inches. The game features additional countries to other Axis and Allies games. Italy is part of the Axis countries, and China is under the control of the U.S. player. Players can set the game in Spring 1941 or in Spring 1942. The edition includes more than 600 game pieces and a 48-page rulebook.
Pacific
Players interested in the American entry into World War II in 1941 can play the Axis and Allies Pacific game. Players plan naval moves and economic strategy. Players control the U.S., China, Burma, Great Britain and Japan. Each set contains 335 playing pieces, encompassing tanks, planes, ships, air and naval bases, kamikaze planes and army pieces.
Pacific 1940
Similar to the Axis and Allies Pacific game, the 1940 game has the added advantage of being specifically designed to join together with Axis and Allies Europe 1940 to create a larger game. Players of Pacific 1940 also get extra Allied forces in the Pacific from Australia and New Zealand.
Guadalcanal
Axis and Allies Guadalcanal is a two-player game that takes about three hours to complete. The setting is 1942, when the U.S. and Japan fought for control of the Solomon Islands in the Pacific. Players use navies, air forces and ground forces to battle for the island chain.
Battle of the Bulge
The Battle of the Bulge game is a battle between Allied forces in Europe and Germany for control of Antwerp. One player controls Germany and the other controls the U.S. and Britain. The Allied player must plan a strategy to block the German tank advance by using his ground troops, artillery and air force.
D-Day
Players of D-Day control German, U.S., British and Canadian Forces in the 1944 invasion of Normandy. The game lasts three hours, and two or three people can play. The game includes a card deck with cards that affect the sequence of turns, give players opportunities, and make the game less predictable.
Europe
The Europe game follows the war from 1941 to 1945. Germany invades the Soviet Union. Players can control the movement of troops and equipment across Europe, North Africa, the Middle East and the Atlantic. The game strategy includes political moves, economic planning and military cunning.
Europe 1940
The Europe 1940 game is a deluxe version of the Europe game, and it can also be used together with the Axis and Allies Pacific 1940 game to create a large board for up to six players.
1942 Edition
The 1942 Edition is an almost worldwide game encompassing Japan, Germany, Britain, the U.S. and the Soviet Union. The game is set in Spring 1942 and is a classic Axis and Allies game.
