How to Play the Care Bear Game Calling All Care Bears

Calling All Care Bears is a children's board game published in 2002 by Cadaco and Play Art. It is intended for kids aged four and up and can be played with two to four people. The game is a simple one, using a roll-and-slide mechanic, and can be completed in fifteen minutes. Included are sixteen Care Bear tokens with plastic stands, a 14-by-14-inch board and a large symbol die. The objective of the game is to be the first to get all four of your tokens from "Start" to "Home."

Instructions

    • 1

Set up the game board and give each player four Care Bear tokens. Each player's tokens must begin in the "Start" area.

    • 2

Roll the symbol die. The first player rolls the symbol die at the beginning of the game. The object shown on the die represents the "stopper" space for the round. The player cannot move his Care Bear token into the "stopper" space, as these squares block all movement. Each player takes turns moving his token by one space until someone reaches the "Home" area.

    • 3

Roll again. The next player rolls the die once a player gets his token to the "Home" area. If a new symbol is rolled then it will replace the "stopper" spaces for that round. If the same symbol is rolled then the "stopper" spaces stay the same. If the player rolls the "Start Again" command, then he must return one of his tokens to the "Start" area.

    • 4

Play does not end until someone gets all four of his tokens in the "Home" area. At that point, the player wins and the game is over.
