Lion King Board Game Directions

The Lion King board game provides fun for two to four players. The object of the game is to win a battle with Scar. Once the board is set up, playing the game is easy and entertaining.
  1. Beginning Play

    • Place the 12 tokens face down and mix them up for a four-player game. For a three-player game, include Mufasa, Pumbaa, Zazu and Timon character tokens as well as three paw print tokens. For a two-player game, use one fewer character token. Each player gets three tokens. The Mufasa token determines who starts the play.

    Understanding the Spinner

    • If you spin Mufasa on the spinner, you get to take the Mafasa token from the player who has it. If you spin Mufasa and already have the token, your turn is over. Spinning a number allows you to advance your pawn. The first player to spin a number gets to move the Simba pawn onto the path.

    Spaces and Action Arenas

    • Landing on a blank space means you get to rest. A Nala space gives you permission to trade one token with another player. The action arenas challenge you to a task to help Simba grow up.

    Battle With Scar

    • To battle Scar, the player to the left of the player battling Scar places three boulder pawns in designated areas away from the view of the player doing battle. Win the game by knocking Scar down with a lion launcher.
