Instructions
Affix the removable labels to the blank spaces on the board. Each label represents an NFL offensive player, placekicker or team defense. The order to which you assign the labels is completely your choice. You can put your favorite player in the most expensive property (Boardwalk in the traditional version), you can match up team colors or you can assign the value based on overall statistics. The labels peel off easily and can be reused in different spots for the next game.
Remove a token from the box to represent you in the game. The standard Monopoly tokens (horse, car, iron, etc.) have been replaced with football variations. The choices are a football, whistle, offensive linemen, helmet, quarterback or a cheerleader.
Place the cards on the appropriate marker on the board. The "Chance" and "Community Chest" cards from the original version are now "AFC" and "NFC," representing the two conferences in the National Football League.
Distribute money to each player in the following denominations:
Two $500 bills
Two $100 bills
Six $20 bills
Five $10 bills
Five $5 bills
Five $1 bills
Any money left over remains in the bank. Designate one player as the banker. This player will facilitate all transactions during the game.
Roll the dice to see who goes first. The player who rolls the highest denomination goes first and play rotates around the board to the left.
Purchase player spaces and build houses and hotels to increase their value. Any time an opposing player lands on a player you own, they have to pay you the amount listed on their card. The value goes up for every house (up to four) and each hotel (one per player space after trading in all four houses).
Collect $200 from the bank every time you pass the "Go" space.
Continue play until all but one of the players has gone "Bankrupt" (lost all of his money). The player with the money is declared the winner. While this is standard, play can stop prematurely for any number of reasons ranging from a pre-set time limit to a game simply going too long. If play stops prior to all but one player going bankrupt, the player with the most money is the winner.
