How the Grinch Stole Christmas
How the Grinch Stole Christmas is designed for parents to play with their young children, as the rules are slightly different depending on the age of the player. Appropriate for players as young as 4, the object of the game is to collect the letters in the name of a present stolen by the Grinch. Once all of the letters have been collected, the player can return that gift to the Whos.
A Charlie Brown Christmas
The object of this game is to decorate Charlie Brown's Tree. The player who makes it around the board first and back to the Season's Greetings space lights the tree and is the winner. The tree does actually light. Children ages 5 and up can enjoy A Charlie Brown Christmas.
A Christmas Story
For some, the popular 1983 film "A Christmas Story" is a vital part of the Christmas season. If you think that you know this film more intimately than anyone else in your family, challenge them to a trivia contest using this game. A Christmas Story is appropriate for players age 8 and up.
The Christmas Game
Players work cooperatively to arrange four manger scenes that are pictured in the middle of the board. A certain amount of luck is required to win the game, as the space that the player lands on after rolling the dice determines whether she will gain or lose a piece of the scene. Players may also trade their pieces with others.
Home Alone
For ages 6 to 12, this game allows the player to be Kevin, the main character from the film, and defend his home from cat burglars. The player places cards representing traps and valuable items throughout the home. The remaining players portray the burglars, and attempt to steal goods from the house without getting caught in a trap.
