Bugs! Where Are You? Card Game
This card-matching memory game uses an insect theme. Fifty cards are placed face down, and 2 or more players take turns flipping them over in an attempt to find matching insects. When a player finds a match, she takes the cards and adds them to her pile. If she fails to find a match, she turns both cards back over and the next player tries. The player with the most cards at the end of the game wins.
There are 25 featured insects in the game, with each card carrying a fun fact about that insect. The game was created by University Games for players aged 4 and up. It currently carries a price of $7.00 at Amazon.com
Creepy Crawlers Board Game
This board game is based on the Creepy Crawlers line of gooey, sticky bug-related toys. In this game, players roll dice and move around a game board set up like a house floor plan. Players use their army of creepy insect pieces to invade and capture different rooms in the house. The first player to move 3 of his bugs into a room captures that room. The first player to capture 3 rooms is declared the winner.
The game, created by University Games in 1994, is considered out of print. Copies can still be found at online retailers such as Amazon, however, for as little as $4.95 plus shipping.
