Clue Mystery Games

CLUE is a mystery deduction board game. Originally published in the United Kingdom in 1949, it is now published by Parker Brothers. Players strategically move their pieces around the game board, collecting clues to solve the mystery. There are numerous versions of the game, as well as a movie version.
  1. CLUE: Discover the Secrets

    • "CLUE: Discover the Secrets" is the most recent twist on the classic CLUE game. Hasbro describes it as a "modern twist" on CLUE; the game is set at a party at the mansion of millionaire mogul Mr. Boddy. Like the original game, there are six suspects, six weapons and nine rooms, with a few updates such as a spa for a possible murder location and a barbell as a possible weapon. The instructions are written tabloid-style, and the new deck of Intrigue Cards can either help solve the murder or lead to a second one.

    CLUE: Harry Potter

    • "CLUE: Harry Potter" is one of several "CLUE" versions based on a popular movie or television series. Players can play as Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Luna or Neville in a attempt to find a fellow student who has vanished from Hogwarts. Players vie to be the first to uncover who committed the crime, what spell was used and where the missing student was attacked. The game board includes secret passages, hidden staircases and the Dark Mark.

Other television and movie versions of the game include "CLUE: 24," "CLUE: Office," "CLUE: Seinfeld" and "CLUE: Twilight Zone."

CLUE Jr.: The Case of the Missing Cake

    • "CLUE Jr.: The Case of the Missing Cake" is a non-violent version of the classic game which involves a missing piece of cake and an accompanying beverage, rather than a murder and a weapon. The game is played just like the original game, but intended for players aged 5 to 8.

CLUE Carnival: The Case of the Missing Prizes

    • In "CLUE Carnival" is another non-murder version of the game. Players compete to be the first to solve the mysterious disappearance of the carnival prizes, guessing who took the prizes and when. The game is double-sided, with two difficulty levels, and is suitable for ages 5 and older.
