Board Games for Kids Age 7

There are a variety of board games available for young children to play. These games incorporate strategy, problem-solving or even just plain luck while providing hours of entertainment. Board games can also help teach young children good sportsmanship as well as the importance of following the rules and playing nicely.
  1. Scrabble Junior

    • In this junior edition of the classic game Scrabble, children must match their letter tiles to the words on the game board. Players score points and win chips for completing words. The player with the most chips at the end of the game wins. The game board is also two-sided and features an additional game on the reverse side for when players need more of a challenge. On the reverse side, players must create their own words from the tiles and place them on the board to score points.

    Pictionary Junior Game

    • Children will learn to use their imagination in this junior version of the classic game Pictionary. Players are divided into two teams. Each player must sketch items for teammates to guess. Players must sketch quickly because each team is only given a minute to guess what their teammate is drawing. The game includes themes specifically for children and is recommended for 3 or more players.

    Clue Junior Game

    • Children will test their detective skills as they try to figure out which players stole the cake and ate it too in this classic game. Players must move around the game board collecting clues and trying to solve the mystery. The player who guesses the correct culprit wins the game. This game is recommended for 2 to 6 players.

    Monopoly Junior Game

    • Players must travel through an amusement park in this junior version of the classic game of Monopoly. This version of the game is specifically designed for children ages 5 to 8 and helps teach players basic math and counting. This game is recommended for 2 to 4 players.
