Connect Game
This game was created by Ken Garland and Associates and resembles dominoes in that it is a game that connects tiles by strategy. The tiles are square-shaped and have different lines printed on the tops. This game appeals to both girls and boys in that the lines connect in either straight or curved lines. The object is to continue to attach the tiles to each other until one of the players runs out of tiles, or there are no more moves left.
Tri-Ominos
This fun game is like dominoes except the tiles are in an equilateral triangular shape. Each point on the triangle will have a different number, and similar to dominoes, each corner needs to line up with another correctly before being added to the table. For those who identify with numerals instead of dots for numbers, Tri-Ominos is a great game to try.
Rummikub
Rummikub is a game with tiles that combines items of dominoes with the card game rummy. Rummikub was created by Ephraim Hertzano and is a game that is played by both adults and children. The tiles consist of rectangular tiles with a different-colored number on the end. The object of the game is get rid of all the tiles by building runs or sets of similar colors or matching numbers on the table.
