Surfing Board Games

What can feel better than the wind blowing through your wet hair as you ride a wave toward shore? Very little, but if you can't make it to the ocean or the weather just isn't seasonable, you could try scratching that itch with a surfing-themed board game.
  1. The Game of Surfing

    • The Game of Surfing is a traditional board game where your goal is to travel around the game board seeking the big waves and the pretty girls. Sometimes you are going forward and sometimes you are going backward, but you're goal is always the same: to become the Big Kahuna. The Game of Surfing comes with custom dice which judge your movement by the size of the wave you can get, and event cards such as surfing instructors and polluted water will drive your further forward or back. Spinners on the game board determine which of three decks event cards are drawn from. The game can be played by two to four players.

    Monopoly - Surfing

    • Monopoly Surfing takes the classic board game of real estate entrepreneurship and gives it a surfing theme. Each board space is a world-class surfing beach with photographs of that resort replacing the plain white space of a normal Monopoly board location. The top hat, race car, and other classic Monopoly tokens are replaced instead with the surfer, beach cruiser, woodie, flip fop, shark, and surf wax. A portion of sales of the board game go towards environmental charity The Surfrider Foundation. Monopoly: Surfing can be played by two to six players and takes about two hours to play.

    Surf's Up, Dude!

    • Surf's Up Dude is a game for two to six players. It is played on an ocean-colored game board with waves of different sizes. The goal is to gain fame and notoriety on the beach by sending your surfers to conquer the biggest waves they can handle without wiping out.

    Surf the World

    • Surf the World is a surfing trivia game for two to four players. Players surf at destinations around the world by answering questions about surfer culture, history, lingo, and traditions. More than 150 question cards are included.
