Move around the board with your game piece, which is a tiny slave ship and answer questions correctly or incorrectly in order to either remove links or add them to your chain. The first player to break all of the bonds in their chain wins. Designed to make education fun, Blackboard contains questions on topics that are not always commonly known, discussed or mentioned in other cultural or historical media. The game is advertised as appropriate for ages 7 and up.
Motownopoly
This spin-off version of Monopoly uses Motown as its theme and guides players through the record label's and the city of Detroit's rich musical history (largely influenced by African American musicians and artists). Have fun playing a different version of the Monopoly-style game while learning about important achievements of African American musicians in the USA's rich musical history. The game includes a soundtrack as well.
Black Heritage Trivia Game
A trivia game like many others, the Black Heritage Trivia Game includes 1,200 questions and answers covering various aspects of African American history. Suitable for ages 10 and up, the players attempt to correctly answer questions in order to advance to the center of the board. The first player to get there wins.
